Box office drawers, Ha Ji Won and Bae Doo Na are cast in the movie Korea

Ha Ji Won and Bae Doo Na, both of whom always guarantee the success of a movie, were recently cast in a movie.


Movie Korea cast the two formidable mega-hit movie starlets in Korean movie industry. Ha Ji Won has a record of no. 1 with Haeundae and Bae Doo Na has no. 2 with Monster in Korean box office history. The duo is to compete each other with their acting: Ha plays the role of Hyun Jeon Hwa and Bae plays the role of Lee Boon Hee.


Having attracted 11,000,000 viewers with Haeundae, Ha emerged as a box office draw. With the hit of SBSs TV series Secret Garden and MBCs The King Two Hearts, the starlet has been proving her ability in TV series as well as in movies.


Ha appears in Korea as Hyun Jeong Hwa, a table tennis Olympic medalist. The actress got an intensive training from Hyun for three months before the shooting.


Bae Doo Na comes back to Korean movie industry after six years since the movie Monster. After Monster, Bae appeared in overseas movies, including the Japanese movie Air Doll and Hollywood movie Cloud Atlas by the Wachowski. The actress appears in Korea as Lee Boon Hee, a North Korean table tennis player.


The movie has been generating great curiosity for the collaboration by the two formidable stars.


Based on a true story in which South and North Korea formed a united team for a table tennis match in the 41th World Table Tennis Championship, the movie it to be released in May.
