SuPearls, the girl group formed by SBS’s survival audition program K-pop Star, will be reunited by YG Entertainment.

On May 23, the agency posted a note on their blog YG Life and officially announced that they cast Lee Jung Mi and Lee Seung Joo. They also posted a note in English, “Revival of the SuPearls 1. Lee Ha Yi 2. Lee Michelle 3. Lee Jung Mi 4. Lee Seung Joo.”

A spokesperson for the agency says, “SuPearls was composed of Park Ji Min, Lee Michelle, Lee Jung Mi, and Lee Seung Joo but Park signed a contract with JYP Entertainment. As a result, we decided to put Lee Ha Yi in the group.”

“We will help them become an attractive group so that they can live up to expectations and thank their fans who wanted to see the group again. The new SuPearls will reach out to their fans like Big Mama, who worked in our agency in the past.”

“We will debut the group as soon as possible. Lee Ha Yi will become a member of the group and a solo at the same time.”

SuPearls received a lot of attention by giving impressive performances on the show.

YG Entertainment singed contracts with the 5 participants, including, Lee Ha Yi, Lee Seung Hoon, Lee Michelle, Lee Jung Mi, and Lee Seung Joo, from K-pop Star.
