Group Big Bang will not perform in Korea with their new album Still Alive. They will focus on preparing for their Japanese tour instead, which they will begin next month.

On May 29, a spokesperson for Big Bang’s agency, YG Entertainment, said, “The album is like a present for fans who loved the group’s fifth mini album. The group is not planning to perform in Korea.”

Big Bang started their tour on May 17 in Nagoya, Japan. They will hold concerts in 5 Japanese cities, including, Osaka (May 31 and June 3), Saitama (June 16 and 17), and Fukuoka (June 23 and 24). Since they have full schedules, performing in Korea seems impossible.

The spokesperson for the agency said, “Big Bang will do their best preparing for their Japanese tour. They will release their album in Korea but they will not perform on stage.”

Big Bang will release their special album, which includes 9 songs, in Korea, on June 6.

The album includes 5 new songs, including, the title song “Monster,” which is written by G-Dragon and Choi Pil Gang, “Still Alive,” “Feeling,” “Bingle Bingle,” and “Ego.” Songs from their 5th mini album, including, “Blue,” “Fantastic Baby,” “Bad Boy,” and “Love Dust,” which were released in February, will also be included in the album.

The new songs will be pre-released on June 3 and a music video for “Monster” will be released on the same day as well.
