Hiphop group M.I.B is coming back to the music scene

Releasing the lead track “Only Hard For Me” of their first mini-album Illusion on May 30, M.I.B will start promoting the song by giving their comeback performance on KBS 2TV’s Music Bank on June 1 at 6:00 p.m.

Debuting last year, M.I.P made a strong impression on people as a promising hiphop group. Through the comeback performance, they will replace their charismatic image by a mature, serious one.

M.I.B say, “We’ve longed and waited for the stage to perform. We’ve got so much to show. We’re very nervous now but will try our best to release all our passion on the stage.” As they had to let their stylists go because of fire, they reaffirmed their determination.

The lead track “Only Hard For Me” is an emotional hiphop song with a distinctive melody and dramatic rap. Including the lead track, M.I.B’s new mini-album comes with total seven songs. It also includes “Celebrate,” the song of misfortune released in April as a single album.

Already having received wide attention in foreign countries, M.I.B are trying to receive wide attention in Korea, as well. The members were also invited to K-pop Night at Music Matters 2012, an international music conference held at Clarke Quay Square in Singapore for three days from May 22 (local time).

M.I.B will also give their comeback performance on MBC TV’s Show! Music Core on June 2 and SBS TV’s Inkigayo on June 3.

Right after their debut, M.I.B’s fan cafes opened in thirteen countries, including the U.S., France, Brazil, Japan, and Thailand. They’ve also interacted with many overseas musicians as they were invited to the concerts of will.i.am and Far East Movement as a special guest.
