2PM top the single and DVD charts of Tower Record in Japan

2PM have topped the weekly single and DVD charts of Tower Record, the biggest record store in Japan.
On June 15, JYP Entertainment, 2PM’s agency, reported 2PM’s fourth Japanese single album Beautiful topped the latest weekly single album chart of Tower Record. “Beautiful,” released on June 6, is a song that shows 2PM’s delicate yet manly charms.
2PM also ranked second on the latest weekly album chart (as counted from June 4 to 10) of the Oricon with Beautiful. On the first day of the album’s release, 73,529 copies were sold and the album ranked second on the daily single chart. By June 10, total 141,236 copies were sold.
JYP Entertainment said, “The total sales volume exceeded twice that of the last single album. In addition, 2PM have recently held additional concerts at Budokan in Tokyo, Japan, and sold all 84,000 tickets for their exclusive concert. They’re receiving wide attention in Japan now.”
2PM have also released a DVD of their arena tour and topped the latest weekly DVD chart of Tower Record.
