Boyfriend attract over 40,000 people to their debut showcase in Japan

Boyfriend successfully held a large-scale debut showcase.


Boyfriend held a showcase titled, “First Date with BOYFRIEND in JAPAN,” at Budokan and attracted over 40,000 people to their showcase, which was held total four times.


It’s the largest scale for K-pop singers. With a lot of attention and an enthusiastic response from many Japanese fans and Japanese media, Boyfriend successfully debuted in Japan.


As the showcase started, Boyfriend appeared in a gondola. With a large LED television in the background, they performed some of their domestic hit songs and attracted the audience’s attention.


“Be My Shine~Can’t Leave You,” which Korean popular producer Sweettune created in collaboration with Japanese popular song writer Matsui Koro, was also included.


Boyfriend will officially debut in Japan in August.
