On July 14, Park tweeted, “I cannot understand the people who post malicious comments just for fun even though they know that I’m going to read them. If they say they were just joking, maybe they’re still very childish because they’re not considerate enough of the celebrities who get such comments. I don’t know how they want me to react to those.”

She also said, “This isn’t the first time that I think about this. I’ve always thought about it but I just thought I should speak out this time because they’re going to torture me continuously if I don’t say anything about it. If you want to hear something nice, you have to say things that are nice. I’m not that generous.”

At this, people responded: “I can imagine the hard time she went through.” “Please ignore the stupid netizens.” “I cannot understand the people who leave malicious comments online, either.”
