Super Junior releases Japanese version of Sexy, Free & Single

Boy group Super Junior will continue their activities in Japan.

On July 17, SM Entertainment said that the group will release their fourth Japanese single Sexy, Free & Single on August 22.

It has been about three months since their last single, Opera, was released. The fourth Japanese single will include the Japanese versions of the title song “Sexy, Free & Single” and “Our Love.”

The song “Sexy, Free & Single” has a soulful house groove, combined with house, soul and R & B music. Super Junior proved their high popularity with the song in Korea by ranking first.

The song “Our Love” is familiar to Japanese fans because the group performed it in May at their concert Super Show 4, which was held in Tokyo.

Even though the group hasn’t officially debuted in Japan, they promoted and held their concert at Tokyo Dome and met over 110,000 people.

Super Junior’s third Japanese single Opera sold around 160,000 copies in less than a week and entered the Top 3 chart of the Oricon.

The group will also appear at one of the biggest summer music festival a-nation, which will be held on August 18 through 26 with TVXQ and Big Bang.

A spokesperson for SM Entertainment said, “Super Junior will release their new single in the summer in Japan. They are keeping busy with their sixth album in Korea so they haven’t set any promotional plans in Japan yet.”
