B1A4 is cast in Hello Baby as the next Hallyu star

Im Yong Hyun, CP for KBS N, recently expressed his affection towards the group B1A4.

On July 24, Im attended a press conference for KBS Joy’s B1A4′s Hello Baby in Seoul and talked about why he cast the group in the show.

He said, “The show has focused on raising and taking care of a baby but the new season 6 will feature various charms of the characters.”

“We decided to cast B1A4 in the new season because they have the possibility of becoming a Hallyu star. We’ve been casting idol groups when they were preparing for their next step. The groups that we have cast before have really grown up since appearing on the show.”

“B1A4 will become a top star and they willstart being active in Japan as well. They can grow up into Hallyu stars. I saw their music video early this year and thought they are good singers. I’m happy that the group is cast in the show.”

The show will start airing on July 25.
