Core Contents Media, T-ara’s agency, has announced that it will report seven newspapers to the police for reporting false rumors about T-ara as though they were factual.

On August 3, Core Contents Media announced, “We have appointed two lawyers to deal with the newspapers that reported false rumors about T-ara, which have spread on the Internet as if they were factual. We’ll report them to the police on August 6.”

Core Contents Media is planning to take legal action against the newspapers that have printed the statements of people who impersonated a trainee of Core Contents Media and a T-ara back-up dancer and comments on CEO Kim Kwang Soo’s and Hwayoung’s Twitter accounts without confirming their validity.

Core Contents Media says, “The content of some statements and videos related to the rumor about T-ara members bullying Hwayoung were printed by some newspapers. Please publish only facts that have gone through certain confirmation processes.”

T-ara have postponed their first live concert, which was scheduled to be held at the Jamsil Arena on August 11. T-ara members will focus on their individual work for a while.
