CN Blue’s Lee Jung Shin will make his acting debut through KBS 2TV’s new drama series My Daughter So Yeong.

On August 6, FNC Entertainment, Lee’s agency, reported that Lee has been cast in the lead role in KBS 2TV’s new drama series My Daughter So Yeong.

My Daughter So Yeong is a series directed by Yoo Hyun Gi, who directed Master of Study and Brain, and written by So Hyun Kyung, who wrote Shining Inheritance, Prosecutor Princess, and 49 Days. The series is about love and reconciliation between a father and a daughter.

Lee once made a cameo appearance in the series My Husband Got a Family in July as Bang Mal Sook (played by Oh Yeon Seo)’s new boyfriend. He perfectly portrayed a rival of Cha Se Kwang (played by CN Blue’s Kang Min Hyuk) in the series.

A spokesperson for FNC Entertainment says, “Lee Jung Shin has received many offers from several drama production companies. He’s spent a lot of time studying acting and also has a strong will to learn acting. Please look forward to his acting debut.”

With Lee’s acting debut, all CN Blue members are now actors. After Jung Yong Hwa, Lee Jong Hyun, and Kang Min Hyuk made a strong impression on viewers with their good acting. CN Blue members are currently attracting a lot of attention.

My Daughter So Yeong will start airing on September 15 after My Husband Got a Family goes off the air.
