T-ara��s Soyeon will not return to TV series set

T-ara’s Soyeon, who was hospitalized after a traffic accident, will not be able to go back to shooting KBS’s Monday-Tuesday series Haeundae Couples.

On August 16, the agency, Core Contents Media, said, “Soyeon was going to start shooting the series again on August 15 but she is not well enough yet to return to the set.”

“She is still in the hospital and even though she really wants to get back to shooting the series, she’s not quite ready due to her current condition. We will decide when to go back to the set while we consider her recovery progress.” Soyeon’s schedule has her shooting the series on August 20 and 21 in Busan.

Soyeon was on her way to Busan on August 13 to shoot the series around 6:00 a.m. when the vehicle she was riding in went into a skid, crashed into a guardrail, and flipped on its side.

Including the driver, Soyeon and her stylist were in the car and they were immediately transported to a nearby hospital. She got checked out and was transferred to another hospital in Seoul. No bones were broken, but she did receive several strained muscles from the accident.

Soyeon plays the role of a sister of Go So Ra (played by Cho Yeo Jung).
