2PM will release their fifth single in Japan in November.

On October 17, JYP Entertainment, 2PM’s agency, reported that 2PM will release their fifth single, “Masquerade,” in Japan and start going on a tour of Japan in January next year.

“Masquerade” ranked first to third on the Tower Records Online Chart when reservations for the song began on October 15. It also topped the Recochoku Chart, the biggest ringtone chart in Japan.

“Masquerade,” co-composed by NA.ZU.NA and M.I, who have worked with Arashi, Koda Kumi, and SMAP, is a dance number with lyrics about lovers in forbidden love.

2PM will use masks in the performance for the song.

2PM are going on a tour of Japan, staring in Fukuoka on January 11. They’ll hold a total of 13 concerts in six arenas. They’re expecting to attract a total audience of 150,000 or more.
