Popular MBC drama series to be dubbed in English

On November 28, an official for MBC announced, “The series Missing You is to be dubbed in English. Voice actors will dub the series at a studio in the United States.”

According to the official, the MBC Global Business Team is in charge of the dubbing project. They believe that the series could be popular in other countries. The exact schedule for recording has not been settled on yet because the conditions for the project are still under consideration.

An official for the series says, “K-pop is popular around the world, and that has raised interest in Korean cultural content. We think that the series is very promising, and we want to sell it in the United States and Europe.”

The series is a classic melodrama about a man and woman who have wounded hearts from their first love. Child actors Yeo Jin Goo and Kim So Hyun and adult actors Park Yoo Chun, Yoo Seung Ho, and Yoon Eun Hye have been receiving many favorable reviews for their roles in the series.
