Juniel recently received the New Artist Award at the 19th Korea Entertainment Arts Awards. It’s been only five months since she debuted.

On November 28, Juniel received the New Artist Award with EXO-K at the Korea Entertainment Arts Awards, which was held at the Sungnam Art Center Opera House.

Juniel had been active in Japan since she became a winner of Nijiyiro Supernova, a Japanese TV audition show, in 2010. She debuted in Korea in June this year with “Illa Illa.”

She’s currently receiving a lot of attention with her new song, “Bad Person,” released on November 10.

After receiving the award, Juniel said, “I’m really happy and thankful to receive this award. I want to give better performances for you.”

She also tweeted, “Lots of people have helped and supported me. I’ll work harder. Thank you so much and I love you.”

Juniel also attracted a lot of attention by writing four songs for her second EP, One And One.
