Psy receives the award for Best Solo Dance Performance at 2012 MAMA

The award for Best Solo Dance Performance at the 2012 M.net Asian Music Awards (MAMA), went to Park Jai Sang, better known by his stage name, Psy. The awards ceremony was held at the Hong Kong Convention & Exhibition Centre on November 30 starting at 7:00 p.m.

Psy said, “I’m not that lucky when it comes to awards. I will never forget this year.”

The MAMA is a big year-end music festival that has been held anually since 1999. This year, many K-pop stars, including Psy, Super Junior, Big Bang, SISTAR, Park Jin Young, Epik High, Dynamic Duo, and Taiwanese entertainer Wang Leehome, as well as American pop stars B.o.B and Adam Lambert, appeared at the big event.

The 2012 MAMA aired live in sixteen countries, including Korea, Hong Kong, Japan, Singapore, the United States, and Australia, and the recorded version will air in sixty-nine countries, including several Middle Eastern nations.
