In the episode of MBC’s Wednesday-Thursday series Missing You that aired on January 17, Lee Soo Yeon (played by Yoon Eun Hye) is kidnapped by Kang Hyung Joon (played by Yoo Seung Ho) and taken to the same warehouse where she was raped 14 years ago. Han Jung Woo (played by Park Yoo Chun), in search of Soo Yeon, shows up at the site. Hyung Joon points a gun at him and makes him sit facing Soo Yeon.

“It seems that you have forgotten an important thing. Do you forgive Han Joong Woo, who forsook you and ran away? Do you love him?” says Hyung Joon, trying to remind her of what happened to her 14 years ago when she was raped.

Han Jung Woo says, “Is this all you can think of? Make us recall an awful memory?”

Undaunted, Hyung Joon goes on, “This guy ran away, leaving you in danger. You’re not going to leave me because of this man, are you?”

Soo Yeon feels traumatized by the hurtful memory. Staring at Hyung Joon, Jung Woo roars, “I’m not the little Han Jung Woo who was 15. I’m not leaving without her.”

Jung Woo recalls: “That day, I saw her tears with my arms and legs tied up in ropes. Recalling that is still horrendous. It drives me mad. I really want to kill myself because I could do nothing and ran away.”
