Psy is invited to the inauguration of President Park Geun Hye

On January 18, a spokesperson for Psy reported, “Psy has been invited to the inaugural ceremony of President-elect Park Geun Hye, but he hasn’t decided whether or not he will attend the ceremony. He needs to check his schedule first because it’s already very full. He needs to talk to his manager in the U.S. first. He will soon make a decision.” The inaugural ceremony preparation committee had reported that it was inviting Psy to the ceremony on January 17.

About 60,000 people will attend the inaugural ceremony. Out of the total audience, 30,000 will be selected from among ordinary citizens. People who have special anecdotes about themselves are most likely to be selected.

Psy has become a world-famous celebrity with his song and music video “Gangnam Style.” He ranked second on the U.S. Billboard with the song, and the music video has received over 1.2 billion hits on YouTube.

Psy is currently residing in the U.S., appearing on TV shows and performing. From February, he will go on a promotional tour of South America. In March, he will release a new album all over the world.
