TVXQ has made history on the Oricon Chart. On January 22, this most-recognized of all music charts in Japan reported that TVXQ had topped the Weekly Singles Chart with a new song, Catch Me — If You Wanna, which was released on January 16. As Oricon reported on its official website, it was the twelfth time the group topped the chart—a record for foreign artists. This was also 28th time they ranked in the top ten on the chart since they first made it with their seventh single, Sky, released in August 2006.

The single is a Japanese version of “Catch Me,” the lead track of the group’s sixth Korean album, released this past September. TVXQ will also release a new Japanese album, Time, on March 6.

On April 27, TVXQ will begin a tour of Japan, making stops at the six biggest domes in Japan: the Saitama Super Arena, the Tokyo Dome, the Osaka Kyocera Dome, the Fukuoka Yahoo! Japan Dome, the Sapporo Dome, and the Nagoya Dome.
