Jang Keun Suk holds dinner shows in celebration of the 20th anniversary of his debut

Actor Jang Keun Suk recently held a dinner show tour in celebration of the 20th anniversary of his debut. The tour started in Seoul in December and finished in Tokyo on January 24. Jang did the show in order to express his appreciation to his fans for their love and support during the last twenty years. He held two shows in Korea (in Seoul and Busan) in Korea and four shows in Japan (in Tokyo and Osaka). Each show lasted about three and a half hours, during which Jang looked back on the twenty years of his career, talked about himself, and performed some songs from his previous drama series. Jang also touched the fans by personally giving them roses.

The shows in Korea had open admission, but those allowed to attend the shows in Japan were chosen by lot. Over 20,000 fans applied to attend the shows, but seating was limited to only 3,500.

Jang says, “I had a meaningful time with my fans as spoke with them personally at close range in the private shows. I’ve worked hard for the last twenty years. I thank all the people who have made possible this opportunity for me to celebrate a successful career of 20 years.”
