Oh Yeon Seo leaves We Got Married but her TV series gets popular

This record drew a lot of attention because the episode aired right after the announcement that Oh Yeon Seo would be leaving MBC’s variety show We Got Married.

Oh created rumors about having a romantic relationship with actor Lee Jang Woo, who appears on the series with her. Even though she denied the rumors, controversy over the reality show has been an ongoing problem.

Oh finally decided to leave the show with her partner MBLAQ’s Lee Jun. The production crew for the show officially announced that the two stars would leave the show because of their tight schedules.

On January 3, when the rumors between Oh and Lee occurred, their TV series received the highest audience rating to that point. This can be explained due to the rumors reflecting the show in a negative light, but it helped to raise the audience rating for the TV series.

The series is about a second son-in-law named Oh Ja Ryong (played by Lee) saving his in-laws from their first son-in-law, who formed a conspiracy against them.
