Actor Kim Soo Hyun recently denied that he was cast in the lead role of Tazza 2. On February 13, Key East, Kim’s agency, reported, “We were just asked about Kim Soo Hyun’s schedule. He hasn’t even received the script of the film. It’s not true that Kim has been cast in Tazza 2.” The misunderstanding stems from a misinformed media source. Regarding the inaccurate report, Key East said, “Kim Soo Hyun is currently receiving a lot of offers for TV drama series and films. Tazza 2 is just one of them.” The production team of Tazza 2 confirmed the agency’s story, saying, “Because we’re currently working on the script, we haven’t even started casting. We were just asking some actors about their schedules. It’s not true that the cast has already been decided on.”

Tazza 2 is a sequel to the hit movie Tazza, which was released in 2006 and attracted over 6.84 million viewers. Kang Hyung Cheol, who also directed Speedy Scandal and Sunny, will direct the film, so a lot of people in the movie industry are currently paying close attention to the film.
