According to a May 31 announcement by their agency, SM Entertainment, EXO has received pre-orders for 299,280 copies for their first studio album, XOXO (Kisses&Hugs), which will be released on June 3, a year after their debut. The boy group consists of two subunits: EXO-K, for the Korean market, and EXO-M, for China. The album has been drawing explosive responses from fans even before the official release.

They did the song Wolf publicly for the first time on M-Countdown yesterday. They really caught fans’ attention with their powerful performance.

An agency official says, 300,000 copies is quite a large quantity of orders, even for top-ranked stars. We have been anticipating their rise as global stars since they took the Rookie of the Year awards in both Korea and China.

They will perform on KBS 2TV’s Music Bank today.
