The seven-member male idol group Block B (Zico, Jae Hyo, Taeil, U-kwon, P.O, Park Kyung, and B-Bomb), who came into conflict with their former agency, has established a foothold to return to the music scene by finally reaching an amicable settlement with the former agency. According to an August 29 announcement by the groups new agency, Seven Seasons, Block B had filed for an injunction against Stardom Entertainment requesting a cancellation of their exclusive contract, but they finally reached a settlement after continued negotiations with the agency.

An official of Seven Seasons states, Since the court dismissed the request filed in June, Block B has kept discussing and negotiating with Stardom Entertainment in order to solve all the conflicts and continued their search for ways to resume their music career.

Also, the groups new agency explained the transfer of Block Bs contract, saying, Stardom Entertainment has set up conditions with Seven Seasons, a newly established management agency, for the last two months and has handed the boys exclusive contract over to Seven Seasons.

On this issue, Stardom Entertainment states, Both sides are gratified with the settlement. Stardom will continue to support the activities of Block B.

Seven Seasons also says, We will do our best so that Block B, which has had a difficult time for a while, will be able to step back into the music business and show off their talents. In addition, we appreciate all the fans who have trusted and supported Block B for a long time. We will make sure to repay you for your faith.

In June, Block B filed a suit against Stardom, calling for the cancellation of their exclusive contract. However, on June 7, the Seoul Central Court (Associate Judge Kang Hyung Joo) dismissed their suit. At that time, Block B responded through their lawyer, We will make Stardom take legal responsibility for violating the exclusive contract, including unpaid wages. We have no intention of resuming our careers again with Stardom.
