JYJ’s Junsu (XIA) is going down under to hold a solo concert in Australia, and during his stay, fans there will be able to catch him on their TV screens by watching PopAsia. The program is carried on SBS (the Special Broadcasting Service). Junsu’s concert will be the first stage performance to be carried on this program. During the video recording of the concert, it will also be aired live on SBS radio.

XIA did a concert tour of Asia that went to Bangkok, Shanghai, Seoul, and Busan after he released his second solo studio album last July. The tour got favorable reviews in the press with its great performances. An Australian broadcast rep commented, “The response was hot after JYJ’s previous interview. Following the news of Junsu (XIA)’s guest appearance, requests have been flooding in on social-networking sites and by phone, and we have been able to witness his popularity in Australia.”

SBS is a public broadcasting network, and about 40 percent of Australians watch some of the network’s programs every week. PopAsia is the Australia’s very first Asian music television series, and it records high ratings.

Meanwhile, XIA will continue his tour in Japan after the concert televised in Australia.
