[Roaring Currents] Ranks No. 1 in Ticket Sales.. New Korean Movie Sensation

The movie [Roaring Currents] (Director “Kim Han-min”) ranked no.1 in ticket sales on the first day of releasing.

According to the count of Korean Film Commission on July 30, [Roaring Currents] passed 260,000 and ranked 60.7% ticket sales rate(for 1:30 p.m.).

Meanwhile, the movie [Kundo] (Director “Yoon Jong-bin”) passed 49,000 and ranked 11.3% ticket sales rate at the same time.

While [Kundo], which was released on last 23th, passed 3,500,000, [Roaring Currents] is foreshowing the Korean movie sensation as released on 30th. In succession, [The Pirates] (Director “Lee Suk-hoon”) and [Sea Fog] (Director “Shim Sung-bo”) are released on August 6th and 13th respectively, raising the expectation.
