��WINNER�� to Reveal Debut Song on August 12th During Group Launch Showcase

Pop idol “WINNER” officially released their debut date.

“YG Entertainment”, “WINNER”‘s agency, revealed that the rookie group’s debut song will be released on August 12th by releasing a teaser at the midnight of August 1st.

The teaser started with the scenes that declared the winner of the survival program that aired from last August to October – “WHO IS NEXT : WIN”. After that, “WINNER” members talked about the preparation process, saying “It’s been more than a year since the battle. We didn’t just underwent changes – it was evolution.”

“Kang Seung-Yoon” said “It’s the debut we’ve been waiting for so long, prepared for so long. So I was worried how would it be the results didn’t match our expectations.” Other members – “Song Min-Ho”, “Nam Tae-Hyun”, “Kim Jin-Woo”, and “Lee Seung-Hoon” – also said “We want to let ourselves known right away. Now, we want to show what we had prepared for several years”, revealing their ambitions.

“WINNER” notified at the final part of the video that a launching show will take place on August 6th, with the release of their debut album following suit. The songs will be available online at midnight on August 12th, and physical releases will take place on August 14th.
