According to the Korean Film Council��s Korean Box Office Information System, on 23rd, [The Pirates] (Director ��LeeSeok Hoon��) has gained 182510 audiences in one day on 22nd and ranked number one in the box office chart. The total number of audiences is 5159260.

[The Pirates] performed well keeping the second place in the box office chart after being released on August 6 when [Roaring Currents]�� popularity was outrageous. It reached the top by gaining one million views in four days, two million views in six days, three million views in ten days and passed break-even point on 22nd after 17 days of release with five millionviews.

[The Pirates] ranked number one in the box office chart having third weekend ahead after its release. People are paying attention whether [The Pirates] which is going viral with its comedy and action scenes will maintain their first spot in the box office chart.
