Korean Idol group, BTS, has been awarded American Billboard Music Award for the first time among K pop groups.
BTS received Top Social Artist on American Billboard Music Award ceremony which was held in Las Vegas, May 22nd 9 am (KST).
BTS beat renowned nominees such as Justin Bieber, Selena Gomez, Ariana Grande, and Shawn Medes, and won the award.
'Top Social Artist Award', which BTS is nominated, is awarded by counting the number of digital music sales, streaming, number of radio broadcasting, performance and social attendance from 2016 March 18th to 2017 march 16th and by counting the number of votes from global fan poll that has started on may 1st.
