Monsta X 'Hero' ranked 2nd on Japanese Oricon.. Succeed in landing

A boy group Monsta X placed 1st on Japanese Tower Record, and 2nd on Oricon chart.

According to Oricon chart that was announced on 23rd, Monsta X's Japanese debut single 'HERO' that was released on 17th placed 2nd on Oricon weekly chart. In addition. Monsta X proved their popularity in Japan by placing 1st on Tower Record weekly chart counted between May 15th to 21st.  

The 'HERO' of Monsta X is the first foreign artist's album who made debut in Japan this year and placed in top 3 of Oricon weekly chart. Monsta x have a record of being placed 1st as daily or live ranking in Billboard World Chart, national major music chart, Itunes, and Japanese Kpop Chart with their first full-length album. 

Monsta X contracted with Japanese Universial Music's new lable called, 'Mercury Tokyo' and made a debut with first single 'HERO' on 17th. 'Mercury Tokyo' is a new established lable by Universial Music to make Monsta X's debut in Japan. 'Mercury Tokyo' cites its name from a famous lable, 'Mercury Records' which was established in Illinois, Chicago, 1945. 
 
Monsta X's promotions in Japan will continue untill late May and they will be on a world tour starting with Seoul concert on June. In addition, they will have a fan meeting on August in Japan.
