Girl group BLACKPINK kicked off their world tour in Thailand, the hometown of member Lisa.
BLACKPINK held 'BLACKPINK WORLD TOUR [BORN PINK] BANGKOK' at the National Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand on the 7th and 8th. As it is the first concert to kick off the Asian tour and the city they returned to after about 4 years since January 2019, interest in the members was more explosive than ever.
The Bangkok National Stadium is one of the world's most popular concert venues, where pop star Michael Jackson's concert and Pope Francis' mass were held. BLACKPINK was the first female artist in the world to enter the main stage, and while working with about 85,000 spectators for two days, they realized their extraordinary status and influence in the country.
The area around the concert hall was crowded with people from early hours. In particular, on the first day, a random dance play event with fans' voluntary participation drew attention. Hundreds of Blinks (fandom name) gathered in one place, along with YG's representative character Krunk, performed a group choreography to the music of Blackpink and sang along to form a festive venue.
