aespa conquers Chinese charts with 'Supernova', continues global success

The girl group aespa has made waves by topping the Chinese charts with their new song "Supernova".

Released on the 13th, the double title track from aespa's first full-length album, "Supernova", not only achieved daily number one on Tencent Music's K-POP chart but also secured the top spot on the weekly chart (May 13-19), reaffirming aespa's global presence.

Tencent Music's K-POP chart is a comprehensive ranking system that aggregates streaming indices, digital album sales, and recommendation indices from five music platforms under Tencent Music: QQ Music, Kugou Music, Kuwo Music, Vodiem Music, and JOOX.

This indicates that "Supernova" has garnered significant popularity in China. Additionally, aespa's "Supernova" also claimed the top spot on QQ Music's overall and Korean music video charts for the week. The track even earned the 'Triple Gold' album certification, awarded for surpassing sales of 750,000 yuan, solidifying their reputation as 'global hitmakers'.
