BTS’s Jin Wraps Up Explosive Japan Tour to Packed Crowds – U.S. Tour Begins July 17

BTS’s Jin has successfully wrapped up his Japan tour amid explosive cheers that shook the concert venues.

On July 12 and 13, Jin held concerts at Kyocera Dome Osaka, where even the uppermost tiers and limited-view seats were opened to accommodate the overwhelming demand. Every seat was filled, and Jin delivered flawless live performances to thunderous applause from the crowd.

His first solo concert and world tour, titled #RUNSEOKJIN_EP.TOUR, began in Korea and continued through Japan, with two shows each in Chiba and Osaka from June 28 to August 10. As both the “Visual King” and “Live King,” Jin captivated fans with powerful vocals, sprinting across the massive dome to reach fans in every corner. His breathtaking live singing was matched by carefully prepared piano performances and soft, acoustic vocals that left fans in awe.

Following the concerts, major Japanese outlets such as Sports Nippon, Daily Sports, Nikkan Sports, Sports Hochi, and Sankei Sports featured Jin on their front pages. Lines formed at convenience stores to purchase newspapers with Jin on the cover, leading to sold-out signs being posted. His merchandise also sold out rapidly, as did the products he endorses, such as Jin Ramen and EyeGin.

Fan-led support projects further added to the festive atmosphere, including LED-lit support cruises on rivers and trucks decorated with his tour visuals. Laneige, for which Jin serves as a global ambassador, also ran campaign trucks across the city, creating a celebratory mood.

Jin’s immense popularity in Japan has even led fans to dub the country “JINLAND.” On July 12, a live viewing event for his Kyocera Dome concert was held in 43 CGV theaters across Korea and simultaneously streamed in 10 other countries and regions. The second Osaka concert on July 13 was broadcast globally via Weverse’s online streaming service.

After the resounding success of his fan concert #RUNSEOKJIN_EP.TOUR in Korea and Japan, Jin will kick off the U.S. leg of his tour on July 17, starting in Anaheim, followed by Dallas, Tampa, and Newark. He will perform 18 shows in 9 cities, including London and Amsterdam.

Notably, Jin is set to become the first-ever K-pop solo artist to headline a concert at London’s O2 Arena, making history once again.

Due to the overwhelming demand and the large number of fans who couldn’t secure tickets, many are now earnestly hoping for encore concerts to be announced.
