BTS → TXT → First New Boy Group in 6 Years… The 'BigHit Music Rush' Begins

The “BigHit Music Rush” is underway.

Following BTS (Bangtan Sonyeondan) and TOMORROW X TOGETHER (TXT), a new rookie boy group is also preparing for their album release, marking a lineup of back-to-back comebacks under BigHit Music.

BTS (RM, Jin, SUGA, j-hope, Jimin, V, Jungkook), the flagship group of BigHit Music, will release their first-ever live album "PERMISSION TO DANCE ON STAGE – LIVE" on July 18 at 1 PM (KST). This live album captures performances from their tour of the same name, which took place from 2021 to 2022. It includes the songs they performed and the cheers and support from fans, aiming to deliver the vivid emotions of that time. After releasing this album, the members will reunite in the U.S. to begin preparations for a new album and performances slated for release next spring.

TOMORROW X TOGETHER (Soobin, Yeonjun, Beomgyu, Taehyun, Hueningkai) will release their 4th full-length album "The Name Chapter: TOGETHER" on July 21 at 6 PM (KST). The title track “Beautiful Strangers” is a hip-hop song with a trap rhythm, telling the story of “me” growing stronger thanks to the strength received from “you,” and “us” being beautiful because we’re different. TXT has built a solid narrative through previous album series like “The Dream Chapter,” “The Chaos Chapter,” and “The Name Chapter,” and this album will conclude the arc of “The Star Chapter.” Notably, this album will include the members’ first-ever solo songs since debut, which is expected to bring great joy to fans.

The final act in this rush is BigHit Music’s first new boy group in 6 years. The rookie group, set to debut on August 18, consists of Martin, James, Juhun, Sunghyun, and Gunho. All in their teens, the group radiates youthful charm and strong creative capabilities. Despite their young age, they’re a “young creator crew” that produces music, choreography, and videos themselves with fresh and original perspectives. Rather than being confined to specific positions, the five members work collaboratively in a co-creative format, sparking great curiosity.

Musical collaborations between BigHit Music’s senior and junior artists are also noteworthy. Martin is credited on TXT’s new track “Beautiful Strangers.” In addition, he and James previously contributed to TXT songs like "Deja Vu" and "Miracle (Miracles Happen Every Moment You and I Are Together)." James also took part in choreographing “Deja Vu,” building a special bond with the senior group.
