TVXQ’s New Japanese Single Sparks Buzz—A New Beginning for Their 20th Anniversary in Japan

TVXQ (under SM Entertainment) has captured attention with the release of their new Japanese single on July 20.

Their single, titled “月の裏で会いましょう / Tsukinourade Aimashou” (translated as “Let’s Meet on the Far Side of the Moon”), was released on various global music platforms and has been receiving positive responses from global listeners. The track is a reinterpretation of the city pop classic by Original Love, infused with TVXQ’s signature emotional depth and solid vocal power.

The lyrics of the song convey a heartfelt message—suggesting a miraculous meeting in an unseen, mysterious place like “the far side of the moon.” Commemorating their 20th anniversary since debuting in Japan, TVXQ expresses their sincere desire to always stay connected with their fans and continue the journey together, marking this release as a symbolic new beginning.

In celebration of this milestone, TVXQ has also set new records through their 20th anniversary live tour in Japan, reaching a historic 33 performances at the Tokyo Dome and a total of 92 dome concerts across Japan—the most dome performances ever by a foreign artist in the country.

Looking ahead, they plan to hold fan events in Tokyo and Hyogo this November, allowing for closer interaction and more special memories with local fans.

Meanwhile, TVXQ is also set to perform at “SMTOWN LIVE 2025” at Tokyo Dome on August 9–10, continuing their enduring presence on the grand stage.
