“Another New Record” — Stray Kids Successfully Wraps the Largest K-Pop Solo Concert in Spanish History; First Asian Group to Headline Madrid’s Cívitas Metropolitano

Stray Kids has successfully held a sold-out solo concert in Madrid, creating what is now the largest K-pop concert ever in Spain.

On July 22 (local time), Stray Kids performed a solo show at Cívitas Metropolitano in Madrid as part of their world tour “Stray Kids World Tour ‘’.” This marked the group’s first-ever solo concert in Madrid, drawing massive local attention and selling out every seat — a testament to their soaring popularity in the region. The concert was historic, becoming the largest-scale solo K-pop concert ever held in Spain.

The venue, Cívitas Metropolitano, is the home stadium of Atlético Madrid and has hosted major sporting events such as the UEFA Champions League Final and Copa del Rey Final. Renowned global artists like The Rolling Stones, Bruno Mars, and Ed Sheeran have previously performed there. Stray Kids made history as the first K-pop and Asian act to headline a solo show at the stadium — and they did so with a completely sold-out crowd, further solidifying their global status.

Opening with the explosive energy of “MOUNTAINS,” Stray Kids delivered a powerful and diverse setlist, including title tracks from their Billboard 200 No.1 albums, fan-favorite hits, and unit stages from their digital single “Mixtape: dominate.” Their performances electrified the packed stadium and ignited waves of excitement among the sea of fans.

As the show came to an end, the eight members shared their heartfelt thoughts:

“We’ve always wanted to come to Spain, and we’re so grateful to finally be here in such a beautiful city thanks to you. Thank you for waiting for us — we promise to return again.”

They wrapped up the night with their encore song “Star Lost,” creating unforgettable summer memories with STAY (their fandom) until the very last moment.

Currently on the European leg of their world tour, Stray Kids is performing eight shows across six cities, and will head to Stade de France in Paris on July 26–27, followed by their grand finale at Stadio Olimpico in Rome on July 30, which will mark the largest-scale concert of their career to date.
