Stray Kids (Bang Chan, Lee Know, Changbin, Hyunjin, Han, Felix, Seungmin, and I.N) proved themselves as the present of K-pop through their solo concerts in Paris, France.
On July 26 and 27 (local time), Stray Kids held two concerts at Stade de France, the largest stadium in France. A total of 120,000 local fans—60,000 per show—filled the stadium. This marks the largest audience ever gathered by a Korean artist at the venue.
Stade de France, located in Saint-Denis, Paris, is the national stadium of France, home to the French national football team and the main stadium for the Paris 2024 Olympics. Performing at such an iconic venue, Stray Kids set a historic milestone, representing the current power and status of K-pop.
Angelo Gopee, CEO of global concert promoter Live Nation France, shared his thoughts on the concert, saying:
"When Stray Kids took the stage at Stade de France, the stadium shook with their singing and dancing. It's rare to feel such an atmosphere at this venue. The connection between the fans and the artists was incredible."
He added, "If I had to describe Stray Kids in one word, it would be ‘iconic.’ They have something different. The fact that they write and compose their own music and then perform it live—that’s something truly special."
When asked about the group's future, Angelo Gopee said:
"Stray Kids are the fastest-growing K-pop group and a young group that debuted in 2018. They have a bright and promising future ahead. I’m confident they’ll continue to top charts in both albums and concerts—and remain No.1 in the hearts of fans around the world."
