NouerA, dubbed the “Billboard Rookie,” has emerged as a major player in the short-form content trend.
As of July 25, NouerA’s “BNB (Beauty and the Beast)” re-entered the YouTube Shorts Popular Songs chart at No.13, drawing attention once again. This achievement follows its previous feat of being the only idol song to reach No.10 on the YouTube Music Weekly Shorts chart—another significant milestone.
What makes this re-entry especially meaningful is that it occurred at the end of their first comeback promotions, and “BNB” is not even the title track, but a B-side track.
“BNB (Beauty and the Beast)” is a particularly special song for NouerA. It was selected for follow-up promotions after their fans, known as NovA, showed overwhelming love for their first comeback. This track served as a beautiful finale to their comeback era, following the title track “n (number of cases).”
“BNB” draws inspiration from a fairy tale narrative—meeting someone who recognizes your true self despite the cold judgment of the world, leading to a fated encounter and true love. The song resonated strongly with fans because it parallels the journey of NouerA and their fandom, growing side by side. While “n (number of cases)” showcased NouerA’s powerful and energetic side, the performance of “BNB” highlights their refreshing, youthful charm.
NouerA recently made a vibrant comeback with their second mini-album “n: number of cases,” which surpassed 200,000 in first-week sales, marking a career high and reflecting the growing global interest and anticipation for the group.
Starting on August 3 in Yokohama, Japan, NouerA will kick off their first fan concert, “EnTER the mission,” with follow-up shows in Seoul on August 16 and 17, promising unforgettable moments for their fans.
NouerA first made waves even before their official debut, receiving an official invitation to perform at the “Billboard No. 1s Party” in Los Angeles. There, they were honored as “2025 K-pop Rookies” by both Billboard and Billboard Korea, earning the nickname “Billboard Rookie.”
Since debuting, they have been invited to major festivals both domestically and internationally. They also won the Hot Trend category at the Asia Star Entertainer Awards 2025 and received the Rookie Male Idol of the Year award at the 2025 Brand Customer Loyalty Awards, further cementing their dominant rise as the true Billboard Rookie.
