Singer Wendy is fully prepared to meet her fans across the globe.
At midnight on August 22, her agency Ascend unveiled the schedule poster for “2025 WENDY 1st WORLD TOUR ‘We’re Alive’” through Wendy’s official social media. According to the poster, the tour will begin with concerts in Seoul on September 20 and 21, before heading to Taipei, Hong Kong, Tokyo, San Francisco, Pasadena, Sugar Land, Chicago, Brooklyn, Washington D.C., Atlanta, Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur, Macau, and Manila — spanning a total of 17 shows in 15 cities worldwide.
The announcement of Wendy’s very first solo world tour has sparked an enthusiastic response. With a new album also set for release in September, anticipation among fans continues to grow.
Debuting as a member of Red Velvet, Wendy gained widespread popularity with numerous hit songs including “Ice Cream Cake,” “Red Flavor,” “Psycho,” and “Cosmic.” As a solo vocalist, she has contributed to many Korean drama soundtracks such as “Goodbye,” “Because I Love You,” and “My Day Is Full of You.” Most recently, she participated in the Japanese OST for “Marry My Husband” (私の夫と結婚して), further expanding her global presence.
In February, Wendy also performed at “SM CLASSICS LIVE 2025 with the Seoul Philharmonic Orchestra,” showcasing her wide musical spectrum by taking the stage in a classical concert setting. Now, with her upcoming world tour, all eyes are on what kind of performances she will deliver to captivate audiences around the world.
