JYP Entertainment’s (hereafter JYP) global girl group GIRLSET (Kendall, Camila, Savanna, and Lexi) has released a new single filled with free-spirited energy.

On August 29 at midnight (local time in each region), GIRLSET officially released their new single “Commas” along with its title track of the same name. The song stands out with a mood that feels like it could cool down even the hottest summer heat, pairing confident lyrics with the members’ powerful vocals to get music fans around the world moving.

The title track “Commas” was produced by Tommy “TBHits” Brown, who has worked with Ariana Grande, Justin Bieber, and The Weeknd, along with Theron Thomas, the hitmaker behind global K-pop successes such as Jungkook’s “Seven (feat. Latto)” and Rosé’s “APT.” as well as tracks for pop stars like Lizzo and Doja Cat. Together, they elevated GIRLSET’s unique charm.

Ahead of the official release, GIRLSET dropped a series of teasers on August 28: in the morning, striking new concept photos showcasing their confident gazes, followed in the afternoon by the official “Commas” MV teaser. Kendall, Camila, Savanna, and Lexi appeared one after another—drawing viewers in with bright smiles, preparing glamorous dresses for a festive party with GIRLSET, and closing with a chic, captivating aura.

To celebrate the release, the group will hold a live broadcast at 11:30 AM KST on August 29 through their official social media channels. Taking place offline in Los Angeles just before the single’s global release at midnight local time, the event will also be livestreamed worldwide, allowing more fans to join. Through this countdown live, GIRLSET will share their excitement for the launch of “Commas” in each region and create special comeback memories with fans.
