On September 16, Monica posted several recent photos on her personal social media along with the caption, “Moabonika” (a play on words meaning “Collected Monica”). The pictures show her supporting her body solely with arm strength, highlighting her impressive flexibility and power. In another photo, she can be seen gazing at her baby in a stroller or strolling with fellow dancer Lip J.
Monica announced her marriage and pregnancy simultaneously last December and welcomed her first child in April, receiving an outpouring of congratulations. She made headlines for returning to work just 70 days after giving birth. Appearing on Mnet’s variety show World of Street Woman Fighter this past July as a member of the Korean crew Bumpjuck, Monica said, “It’s the 74th day since I gave birth. Standing on stage again after so long, my mind feels scattered,” but also added, “I’ll do my best so as not to burden the members,” earning encouragement from viewers.
