Kim Jong-kook’s 30th Anniversary Concert Sells Out All Seats

Singer Kim Jong-kook’s 30th anniversary concert has sold out completely, proving his enduring popularity.

On October 18 and 19, Kim will hold The Originals at Bluesquare SOL Travel Hall in Yongsan-gu, Seoul. Tickets for all shows sold out quickly as soon as reservations opened on the 15th, reaffirming the artist’s lasting appeal over three decades.

The concert will be a comprehensive showcase of Kim’s musical journey, featuring a diverse setlist that spans from his hit songs during the Turbo era to his most iconic solo tracks.

Special stage productions and guest performances are also planned, serving as a heartfelt thank-you to the fans who have supported him unwaveringly for so long.

Kim Jong-kook shared, “I am here today thanks to the fans who have been with me for the past 30 years. This concert will be like a festival that I create together with my fans.”

The concert organizer added, “Kim Jong-kook’s music, which transcends generations, and his sincere stage presence will be an unforgettable gift for fans. We are also considering additional shows in other regions for fans who were unable to secure tickets due to the rapid sellout.”

Kim Jong-kook debuted in 1995 as part of the group Turbo, releasing hits such as Black Cat Nero and Love Is…. He later transitioned into a solo career, producing numerous hits including One Man, Lovable, and Walking in Place, establishing himself as a national singer capable of both ballads and dance tracks. He has also remained active in variety shows, continuing to connect with audiences across generations with his friendly charm.
