BTS member Jimin has once again demonstrated his generosity by donating 100 million KRW (approx. $73,000 USD) to the Jeonbuk Office of Education.
According to the Jeonbuk Special Self-Governing Province Office of Education on the 25th, Jimin sent the 100 million KRW scholarship donation to the Jeonbuk Office of Education’s “Love Scholarship Association” on September 18. It was revealed that his father had called the superintendent’s office in July to express Jimin’s intention to donate.
Since 2019, beginning with his hometown of Busan, Jimin has been quietly carrying out acts of kindness by donating scholarships to support underprivileged students through various education offices, including Jeonnam, Gangwon, Chungbuk, and Gyeongnam.
Acting Superintendent Yoo Jeong-ki expressed his gratitude, saying, “We sincerely thank BTS’s Jimin for his warm act of sharing for the future of our children. The donation will be used through the Love Scholarship Association to help students who are studying in difficult circumstances.”
