BTS’s V has revealed his striking dual charms—his perfectly toned, muscular physique sculpted through workouts, and his flawless, handsome visuals.
On September 24, fitness trainer Ma Sun-ho uploaded a video titled “LA Vlog ep.1 (feat. BTS)” to his YouTube channel. A bodybuilder who appeared in Physical: 100 Season 1, Ma explained, “I came here for a two-week schedule to train,” as he captured his workout sessions with BTS members V, RM, and Jungkook in a raw, behind-the-scenes look. On September 19, Ma had already teased the vlog by posting photos on his social media of himself working out with BTS. He explained his trip to LA, saying, “The BTS members are working here in LA, and I came as their trainer to support their workouts.” The members cheered each other on with shouts of encouragement throughout their training.
Wearing a black sleeveless shirt, V showcased his sharp jawline while lifting heavy dumbbells during an arm workout. Despite the intensity of the exercise, he maintained a composed expression without grimacing, radiating effortless charisma that drew admiration. He then focused on perfecting his form on the row machine under Ma’s guidance, fully immersing himself in the training. Even through the tough workouts, V kept smiling and joking with the members, creating a lively and enjoyable atmosphere.
Before enlisting, V stood at 179cm and maintained 61kg, embodying the classic “slender frame.” His physique, which once seemed unlikely to bulk up, underwent an incredible transformation through intense training—reaching 80kg of muscle, earning him the nickname “Captain Korea” for his strong, chiseled build.
In August, V revealed that he currently weighs 67kg and is aiming to cut down to around 64–65kg. Beyond weight training, he consistently practices running, hiking, and other exercises, proving himself as the ultimate role model of self-management.
