CORTIS has become the first boy group debuting in 2025 to enter the Melon Weekly Chart.

The group—consisting of Martin, James, Juhun, Sunghyun, and Geonho—ranked No. 98 on the latest Melon Weekly Chart (tracking period: September 22–28) with their debut album’s intro track GO!. The song also placed No. 98 on the latest Daily Chart (September 28), showing long-lasting popularity despite the group having officially wrapped up their promotions on SBS Inkigayo on the 28th. GO! gained traction through a viral dance challenge on social media and has remained on the charts for four consecutive days since its first appearance on the September 21 Daily Chart. After additional performances on SBS Inkigayo (Sept. 21) and MBC Show! Music Core (Sept. 27), the song finally broke into the Melon Weekly Chart.

CORTIS’s digital performance has also stood out on Spotify, the world’s largest music streaming platform. Their title track What You Want (Sept. 1–7), intro track GO! (Sept. 9–11, 16–19), and FaSHioN (Sept. 22–27) all topped the “Daily Viral Songs Global” chart. In fact, CORTIS has held the No. 1 spot for 20 days in total. On the latest chart (Sept. 27), FaSHioN ranked No. 1, GO! No. 2, and JoyRide No. 5—placing three songs in the Top 5 simultaneously and achieving “multi-hit” success.

Their rapidly growing fandom is also drawing attention. As of 6:10 PM on Sept. 28, the group’s official community on the global fan platform Weverse surpassed 1 million members. On Sept. 29 at 2 PM, their follower counts reached 3.5 million on TikTok and 3.39 million on Instagram—the only rookie group this year to exceed 3 million followers on both platforms.

Thanks to the explosive popularity of their debut album COLOR OUTSIDE THE LINES, CORTIS has secured the title of “Rookie of the Year.” The album achieved the highest first-week sales among all 2025 rookie releases (based on Hanteo Chart) and debuted at No. 15 on the Billboard 200 (Sept. 27 edition)—the best result for any rookie release this year.
