BTS member Jungkook has achieved another remarkable milestone as his song “Dreamers” has surpassed 500 million streams on Spotify.
According to the world’s largest music streaming platform, Spotify, the official soundtrack for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™, “Dreamers”—performed by Jungkook—has exceeded 500 million cumulative streams as of the October 19 chart.
With this achievement, Jungkook now owns five songs that have each surpassed 500 million streams on Spotify: his solo tracks “Seven (feat. Latto)” and “Standing Next to You,” his collaboration with Charlie Puth on “Left and Right (Feat. Jung Kook of BTS),” “3D (feat. Jack Harlow),” and now “Dreamers.”
Upon its release in November 2022, “Dreamers” topped the iTunes Top Songs chart in 102 countries and regions worldwide and ranked No. 2 on Spotify’s Daily Top Songs Global chart (dated November 20), taking the global music scene by storm. Meanwhile, the performance video of “Dreamers” uploaded to FIFA’s official YouTube channel has surpassed 420 million views (as of October 2), becoming the most-viewed video in the channel’s history.
To date, Jungkook’s solo songs have accumulated over 9.7 billion streams on Spotify. Among them, “Seven (feat. Latto)” has surpassed 2.5 billion streams, making Jungkook the first Korean artist ever to reach that milestone with a single track.
