NEXZ Gets Real — Behind-the-Scenes Look at 3rd Mini Album “Beat-Boxer”
JYP Entertainment’s boy group NEXZ has raised anticipation for their upcoming release with a teaser video offering fans a glimpse into the making of their 3rd mini album, “Beat-Boxer.”
On October 21, members Tomoya, Yuu, Haru, So Gun, Seita, Huey, and Yuki unveiled a new teaser titled “NEXZ ‘Beat-Boxer’: For Real” through their official social media channels, showcasing their album production process ahead of the release of “Beat-Boxer” and its title track of the same name.
The video captures the members confidently recording in the studio and holding serious discussions about the project. Even as they joke around, the rehearsal room soon fills with the unified footsteps and breaths of the seven members, symbolizing their focus and teamwork. The clip closes with scenes of the group wrapping up a long, intense day — a glimpse that amplifies curiosity about the passion and drive behind their new mini album.
Recently, NEXZ also drew attention with their creative content series “BEAT-LAB,” which explores the group’s fictional “beat universe.” Their upcoming release promises to showcase an upgraded musical identity and refined group synergy.
All members participated in writing lyrics for Track 5, “Next To Me,” with Tomoya contributing to composition and arrangement, and Haru also taking part in composition. Additionally, Tomoya, Yuu, and Haru are credited with the choreography for the title track “Beat-Boxer” and the B-side “I’m Him.”
The teaser highlights NEXZ’s authentic artistry and hands-on involvement across songwriting, production, and performance — heightening excitement for their next chapter as “real beat-makers.”
