JYP Entertainment’s boy group NEXZ has released the music video teaser for their new song “Beat-Boxer.”
On October 22, members Tomoya, Yuu, Haru, So Gun, Seita, Huey, and Yuki unveiled the teaser for the title track “Beat-Boxer” from their upcoming 3rd mini album of the same name.
The video opens with a heartbeat-like rhythm pulsing through the scene, introducing three different versions of NEXZ. The members showcase a mysterious on-stage charisma, transform into boxers throwing daring punches in the ring, and freely roam through a school expressing their individuality. Their powerful, synchronized choreography amplifies the energy, heightening anticipation for the story NEXZ will tell through the beat.
The title track “Beat-Boxer” blends hip and upbeat sounds, combining the words “Beat” and “Boxer” to convey NEXZ’s confidence in delivering thrilling performances and “breaking the beat” on stage. Members Tomoya, Yuu, and Haru directly participated in creating the choreography, bringing out the group’s strengths and distinct style — further establishing NEXZ as a potential “performance powerhouse” group.
Ahead of their comeback, NEXZ has been drawing attention through various content, including music videos for the album’s other tracks, character teasers, and their concept project “BEAT-LAB,” where they transform into researchers in the “beat universe.”
Their 3rd mini album “Beat-Boxer” is set to be released on October 27 at 6 PM (KST). Fans can also look forward to their first solo domestic concert, “NEXZ SPECIAL CONCERT <ONE BEAT>,” taking place on October 25–26, adding to the excitement surrounding their highly anticipated comeback.
