Boy group CLOSE YOUR EYES (members Jeon Minwook, Ma Jingxiang, Jang Yeojoon, Kim Sungmin, Song Seungho, Kenshin, and Seo Kyungbae) has hinted at an epic comeback through a cinematic trailer video for their upcoming album.
On October 23 at 8 p.m. (KST), the group’s agency Uncore released the trailer video for CLOSE YOUR EYES’s third mini album, “blackout.”
The video opens with a wall clock hanging on the wall — suddenly, a massive crack forms across the wall, immediately seizing attention. The number 8 on the clock tilts sideways, transforming into the symbol for infinity (∞). While the members casually read books or drink beverages, Jeon Minwook alone becomes aware of the endless time loop, his uneasy, trembling gaze adding to the mysterious atmosphere.
As the sound of the ticking clock intensifies, Minwook’s vision begins to blur, leading to repeated blackouts. Each time he opens his eyes, the same moments replay, driving him into confusion. In desperation, he attempts to rip the clock off the wall — soon joined by the other members, who line up to help him. Together, they finally succeed in removing it.
Behind the clock, a dark, gaping hole appears in the wall. Beyond it lies a mirror-like version of the same room, repeating the members’ actions from moments before. As the line between reality and reflection blurs — unsure whether “the me here” or “the me beyond the wall” is real — the video ends with the room shattering into countless cracks, leaving viewers with a lingering sense of mystery and excitement for what’s to come.
