JYP Entertainment’s boy group NEXZ begins their music show promotions for their new single “Beat-Boxer” today (31st) on KBS 2TV’s Music Bank.
NEXZ (Tomoya, Yuu, Haru, Sogen, Seita, Huey, Yuki) released their third mini-album “Beat-Boxer” on October 27 at 6 PM. Returning to fans about six months after their second mini-album “O-RLY?” in April, the group will perform on KBS 2TV Music Bank on October 31, MBC Show! Music Core on November 1, and SBS Inkigayo on November 2, showcasing their reputation as the “next-generation performance powerhouse.”
The title track “Beat-Boxer” embodies NEXZ’s confidence in dominating the stage with explosive energy. It features a minimal yet unique sound reminiscent of 2000s hip-hop and dance music. The music video, capturing NEXZ’s powerful performance through dynamic camera movements and angles, has raised anticipation for their live stages, receiving praise such as “You can feel NEXZ’s passion and determination in the choreography” and “Impressive dance skills.”
On October 31, JYP released behind-the-scenes photos from the “Beat-Boxer” music video, responding to fans’ support. The seven members impressed with boxing-like gestures while also showing playful sides with cat paw and V-sign poses for the camera.
The new single “Beat-Boxer” immediately topped Bugs’ real-time charts on the day of its release, with all five tracks from the mini-album charting within the top 20. The album also claimed the top spots on Hanteo’s daily physical album chart and Circle Chart’s daily retail album chart as of October 29. At 1 PM on the 31st, NEXZ will release an English version of “Beat-Boxer” for global fans, continuing the momentum.
